Commercial Insurance Account Handler
GBP24,000 - GBP28,000 to experience + benefits
North Southampton
Well respected and established independent firm of Insurance Brokers.
This is a great opportunity for a pro-active experienced Commercial Insurance Broker, who would like to play an integral part in servicing, growing and developing an existing portfolio of commercial client accounts.
While this an office based role, there will be opportunities to meet face to face with clients.
The team you will be joining provide the full broking service across all aspects of new and existing business, for a mixed portfolio of small, medium and large Commercial clients, drawn from a wide sector of businesses.
Speaking with clients to identify their Insurance requirements at new business and renewal stage.
Providing comprehensive competitive quotations, from a wide panel of Insurer offerings; speaking with Underwriters to obtain the best cover and terms.
Responding to day to day queries on existing business, adjustments, extensions to cover; identifying opportunities to cross-sell or generate new leads and referrals.
Maintaining accurate administration and database records.
Skills/experience required:
Current/recent Commercial Insurance Broking experience
2-3 years + experience, to demonstrate the range and depth of product and market knowledge required. Offering a good product knowledge across all major classes of business - including Commercial Combined, Commercial Property Risks, Liability (PL & EL), Business Interruption, Commercial Motor etc.
Cert CII or progress is an advantage.
Strong communication skills - confident to build a rapport with clients at all levels.
A customer focussed approach, with a can-do approach to service and sales.
Hours will include a Saturday morning on a monthly rota basis.
Central town office location, with good train, bus links and road links from various locations - North Southampton, Eastleigh, Andover, Winchester, Basingstoke
