Accounts Assistant
Situated in Bodmin this company is looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to start ASAP. The role involves:
- Provide a focused Cost Accounting service to help with management actions and decisions.
- Analyse and report key financial data within the organisation ensuring that managers receive timely, accurate and relevant information.
- To provide Payroll cover as required
- To maintain, update and review costing models in line with weekly KPI reporting
- To trend date and compare actuals to budget. Liaise with sales and production departments providing analysis when required.
- Support the senior management Accountant with the audit preparation work and account reconciliations.
- To undertake ad-hoc projects e.g new product costings, cost/benefit modelling, assist in new system implementations.
The successful candidate will need to have a can-do attitude and have excellent numeracy and excel skills.
