PAYROLL CLERK - permanent position, based Ipswich.

Exciting opportunity to join established company based in Ipswich Town Centre. You will be working within an established team and supporting on all aspects of a busy payroll. Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

-Collation of data and processing of weekly payroll, to include sickness, absence, bonus/overtime payments

-Recording payroll data

-Processing starters and leavers

-Responding to queries from staff/management

-Assisting the Payroll Supervisor

-Other ad-hoc tasks as required

Profile

This payroll clerk role will require:

-Excellent standard of payroll experience working with weekly and monthly wages

-IT literate with good Excel skills and experience of payroll software.

-Good written and verbal communication skills, and numeracy

-Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

-Ability to work to strict deadlines

-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
