In House Commercial Contracts Lawyer - International Work
A global eCommerce organisation operating worldwide is looking for a Legal Counsel/Commercial Lawyer to join their busy team. The ideal candidate will be a UK qualified Lawyer with experience in this industry and with dealings in the UK and French markets. The role is based in London. Candidates would need French language skills.
This is a very broad commercial role involving reviewing, drafting and negotiating a range of different commercial agreements. Experience in data protection, intellectual property and information technology is preferable. It's an opportunity to come in and handle some high quality and interesting work.
Reporting to the General Counsel, this role has a broad remit advising on commercial and corporate legal issues, including commercial contracts, IP, technology and data protection issues, as well as the opportunity to get involved with corporate and company secretarial matters.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Working closely with the business teams in all countries on the drafting and negotiation of agreements with retailers and publishers;
* Advising on both contentious and non-contentious IP issues arising in the context of an e-commerce business;
* Assisting on matters of general corporate law, corporate structure and governance;
* Advising management and business on general commercial issues in a rapidly changing business environment.
