The role:-
As an R&D Engineer you can bring your knowledge and experience to the table while working on new cutting edge products in a bespoke field in a highly regulatory environment. You will be part of a team who will be hands on working in both the laboratory and workshop where you will be building & testing prototypes as well as performing office based duties including project progress reports and documentation.
You will be able to use and develop your technical expertise in design, manufacturing processes or test methods that will make you a highly valued member of the team.
Skills and experience:-
You can come from either a Scientific or Engineering background and will give you the opportunity to use your degree in a relevant field to its full potential. This role will have you using your 2 years+ work experience with either product development or in a regulated industry or if you have recently graduated and completed an internship/placement will allow you to show case your potential and drive to succeed.
If you have experience of using a CAD package for design then this is advantageous but not essential as this is an area that can be taught, you could be working on components, tooling and equipment that might need to be designed to progress the development of new products.
Your experience in project management will be used go a long way but you will always be supported by the team where you ensure that you are driving the project forwards for results while managing and minimising risks.
