With manufacturing facilities located across the UK we now require a Electrically biased multi skilled Maintenance Engineer to join the Maintenance Team at the Ashby-De-La-Zouch based manufacturing facility.
As the Electrical maintenance engineer you will be working in a technically minded hands on role which offers variation in work from installations, commissioning, to project work.
This is a medium to heavy engineering environment NOT Food, NOT Clean room - and would suit an engineer who is hands on and enjoys getting there hands dirty.
Salary: GBP38,000 per annum with earnings of GBP40,000+
OT Rates: time and ?? to Double time
Hours/Shift: 4on 4off - 4 days on 4days off, 4 nights on 4 days off
Benefits: Overtime, Pension, 24 days holidays, free onsite parking
Interviews: Immediate with JAN 2017 start date.
Background required: Previous experience within a Manufacturing/Industrial environment as an Electrical maintenance engineer.
Essential Skills required:
*Apprentice trained - qualifications to present at interview
*A strong background within a multi skilled maintenance role within a manufacturing/industrial environment.
Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer:
*To maintain service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.
*PPM's
The ideal candidate will have as many of the following in order to strengthen application:
* Time served apprenticeship
* 17th edition electrically qualified
* PLC experience for Fault Finding beneficial
* Familiar with AC/DC drives and invertors - beneficial
* Previous experience working in a automated manufacturing environment
* Educated in a relevant engineering discipline - City and Guilds/NVQ level 3/HNC/HND etc
Training:
The company offer specific machinery training.

*Salary of up to GBP38,000 per annum as a basic with overtime readily available - Earnings of GBP40,000+
