CNC Millers required - Due to rapid increase in business we now require CNC Millers to join the business. If you are a CNC Miller 3 to 5 axis setter and operator or above then we want to hear from you. With large orders and sustained growth we require skilled CNC Millers to work within this prestigious aerospace component supplier.
Shifts/Hours available: Mon-Thurs 7:30am-4:30pm and Fri 7:30am-1pm
Must be flexible to work late shift 4pm-2:30am
Overtime rates: Mon-Sat time ?? and Sundays Double time
Background required: Must have previous CNC Milling experience within a precision engineering environment.
The work environment: This is a fast paced machining environment, working to high tolerances. You will be working with first class manufacturing facilities and practices in a well organised structured working environment.
Progression/Training:
The company offer off site training courses to enable machinist to expand their knowledge and look to progress from within.
Machinists have the opportunity to become cell leaders, offline programmers, manufacturing engineers.
The ideal CNC Miller will possess as many of the following as possible in order to strengthen the application:
- Time Served Apprenticeship
- Competent to run multiple machines - Highly beneficial if the candidate can operate a number of machines in this machine shop precision engineering environment.
- Competent to set and operate
- Basic online editing skills
- Manual machining skills highly beneficial
- The desire to progress and use other CNC operated machinery
