Technical Manager/ Production Manager required to join our client, a well-established chemical manufacturer specialising in polymers / plastics based in the Suffolk area. The role requires an experienced Production Manager/ Technical manager who is able to manage R&D, quality, production team and has proven experience of polymers / rotational moulding.
The successful candidate will be tasked to day to day running of the laboratory whilst improving efficiency and maintaining quality levels. The technical manager will be required to head up new product development throughout the company and maintain the ISO9001 quality system. A background of plastics / polymers or rotational moulding is required.

Technical Manager/ Production Manager Position Overview
* Management of 20 employees including R&D, quality, production and lab assistants.
* Checking accuracy of product specification
* Responsible for recruitment and training, absence management and disciplinary issues.
* Provide internal support to sales, production and purchasing departments
* Dealing with customers and suppliers to develop and maintain relationships
* Understand and maintain legislation such as ISO9001
Technical Manager/ Production Manager Position Requirements
* Degree qualified in Chemistry/Polymers/Plastics or a background
* Experience in a Technical / Production Management position
* High-level of man management, leadership skills, organise, motivate and support a team.
Technical Manager/ Production Manager Position Remuneration
* Salary- GBP40,000-GBP50,000 (depending on experience)
* Pension
