Sales Team Leader


Cubed Resourcing are working alongside a rapidly growing insurance company that offer exceptional service and are expanding into new markets, now serving hundreds of thousands of customers.

Due to ongoing expansion of the Sales team, this is an exciting new opportunity for a motivated Team Leader that is keen to progress within the insurance sector. In this role you will be responsible for organising and supervising activities and working practices to facilitate the smooth running of the department on a day to day basis.

Applicants for this opportunity should possess excellent man management skills and be highly organised/process driven, you will also need to be extremely customer focused with the ability to work well under pressure.

Working hours for the position involve shifts; 5 days per week (37.5 hours) between 9am-8pm, however you will need to be flexible to work Saturdays when needed.

Key responsibilities:

- To coach and motivate members of the Sales team to reach their full potential and targets
- Implement and oversee new systems, procedures and products effectively and within agreed time frames
- Prepare and deliver professional and well-constructed presentations to colleagues, senior management and partners
- Flexible and willing to invest significant time and effort in order to ensure agreed targets are achieved
- Plan and conduct monthly, six monthly and end of year reviews encouraging two way open and honest discussion with the Sales team to provide feedback to their manager
- Interview potential candidates effectively
- Manage and monitor team performance-carrying out additional audits where required
- Leading by example- demonstrating values and behaviors and identifying areas and suggestions for values, sustainability, respect, integrity, team work, innovation and excellence

Who we are looking for:

- Someone with experience as a Team Leader within a relevant office/call centre environment - supervising, training and developing a busy team
- Proven track record as a high performing Sales Advisor within the insurance sector would be a clear advantage
- Assertiveness, confidence, and professionalism; leading by example
- Excellent written and verbal communication at all levels with good IT skills (SSP/MS Office/Internet/SCC)
- Innovative, with experience of contributing to budgeting, MI reporting and implementing new systems or procedures (ideal but not essential)
