Full Time - including Evenings and Weekends

We are seeking a flexible, proactive and experienced Events Manager to be responsible for complete oversight in creating, organising and operationally delivering the Club's member and Member private social events.

The successful candidate will be expected to produce three Social Events Calendars per year, significantly monitoring and co-ordinating the insertions within the Calendar to prevent clashes. You will propose a range of events applicable to a broad spectrum of Members with are appropriate to the time of year with the weighting of events tipped towards our core adult age groups. It will be essential to ensure each event is advertised , promoted and organised within set targets for each event considering the event costing and profitability budget, using a Profit and Loss sheet for each and every event. The post holder will be required to ensure that events are fully reviewed and accounted for each month, including all monies in received, checking all costs and authorising with Accounts for payment.

This position is constantly working in collaboration with the Club's Media and Marketing Co-ordinator and ensure there is adequate Event cross-marketing and organisation regarding the design, production and release of appropriate marketing materials for each event both electronic and paper formats.

We hold a number of Member Private Events for which the Events Manager is fully accountable for the promotion, administration and deliverance. It is essential to ensure that there has been adequate promotion in the Club, and the ability to upsell the food and beverage and room hire. Constant and thorough communication with all departments involved in the Member's private event to ensure every effort is made to surpass their requirements whilst being mindful that all is being adequately costed and charged.

This role also includes supporting HOD's and Club Committees in the delivery of their events where use of the food and beverage areas or the consumption of food and beverage is involved.

Working inherently closely with the Club's Head Chef and the Club's Food and Beverage Service Manager, to assist in the organisation of and where needed, personally step in to, deliver appropriate staffing levels to ensure cost effective 5* service at each event for which you are ultimately responsible for.

Consistently offer a high standard of customer service and the creation of a welcoming, friendly atmosphere for Members and employees alike. Seek to anticipate Members' needs and respond co-operatively and courteously to their requests.
