The Team

The role is responsible for supporting the team in the production of the consolidated monthly management accounts. The role provides regular management information to the Firm through weekly or monthly reports.

The role has entity and function specific responsibilities, particularly in areas such as cost control, variance analysis and Balance Sheet reconciliations whilst also assisting in the budget and reforecast process.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to help shape the direction of the team, and streamline processes.

You will work closely with other teams within the Finance and Accounting team to ensure delivery of best practice and you will keep up to date with changing accounting regulations and advise accordingly.

Who we're looking for

You will be at least partly qualified Accountant with relevant experience, ideally gained within the legal or other professional services sector. You must have the ability to use Excel at an advanced level and willingness to develop wider systems skills including reporting tools (Qlikview) to an advanced level.

The successful candidate will have strong problem solving skills combined with an analytical approach to identify opportunities to improve processes and information. You will be organised, thorough and accurate demonstrating a high degree of professionalism and accuracy in work at all times.

You will be flexible and able to work to tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills are essential.
