The Commercial Team based at the Business & Leadership Centre in Silbury Boulevard are host to a wide variety of Professional Qualifications to support local professionals in developing their career.

We are interested in hearing from you if you are a practising expert in the field, where you can apply your knowledge and experience to create an engaging learning environment. This role would suit you if you are an experienced Marketing/HR/Management professional with training experience, particularly with groups.
Adult Learners who choose to study a Professional Qualification at the Business & Leadership Centre are generally coming straight from the office to further their knowledge and expertise in their chosen profession, to gain a recognised qualification in their chosen field of study.
To engage with these learners you will need to have an energetic personality, enthusiasm and the ability to create a stimulating learning environment for adult professional learners. Being able to make learning fun, enjoyable and memorable at the end of a long working day is a highly required skill for this role. You will be able to use a variety of teaching styles and meet the requirements of all types of learner.
Due to rapid expansion of our Professional Qualifications, we are looking for Associate Lecturers to join the growing team and contribute to the further success of the Business & Leadership Centre. We are interested in hearing from experience Practitioners with current industry knowledge who are interested in Lecturing, whether this be a new experience for you or you are an existing Lecturer.
As the successful candidate for the position of Tutor for Professional Qualifications, you will possess the following essential knowledge, skills and experience;
- CIPD/ILM/CIM qualification or membership at professional or degree level
- Experience of working within a target-driven environment
- Current knowledge of the challenges within the professions
Ideally, you will also possess the following qualifications, skills or experience;
- Recognised Teaching or Training Qualification (or willing to undertake)
- Assessor/Verifier Award (or willing to undertake)
- Experience of working within a Marketing//HR/Management role
- Experience of delivering professional courses or workshops
Hours: Mainly Evenings (Between 5pm and 9.30pm)
Salary: Teaching GBP22 - GBP30 per hour (Dependent on Experience)/ Internal Verification: GBP9.18 - GBP16.60 (Dependent on Experience)
