They are looking for a highly motivated individual to join their dynamic Reading Street Outreach Team. The team work across the borough delivering shifts on the streets, drop-ins in local day centres, and work with accommodation providers and the local authority to reduce rough sleeping to as close to zero as possible.
As the post holder you will assist the team by coordinating and performing secretarial, reception and administrative duties and ensuring the smooth running of the service. You will also be the first point of contact for general enquires from external agencies and other departments. Other duties include being responsible for maintaining paper and electronic data systems, organising meetings and producing statistical reports when required.
To succeed, you will have the ability to work as part of a team and to initiate and maintain effective working relationships with others; including experience of liaison responsibility in a multi-agency service environment. You will also have strong IT/typing skills and good practical knowledge of Microsoft Office. Other requirements are the ability to handle responsibility and manage your time and work in demanding and target driven role.
