This is an opportunity to join an ambitious start-up with a mission of making screen time more effective for children. Through their products, they help teachers, parents and learners to find educational apps which meet their needs and provide resources to increase confidence in their use.

They are looking for a Sales Executive with a proven ability to drive significant revenue to join their ambitious start up in the educational technology sector.

The role:
This position is hugely varied as you will be selling their products and services to app developers. They believe the potential that educational apps have to completely change the way children learn is limitless, but that there needs to be more effective ways for teachers, parents and children find and use these apps. Their products and services solve this problem.

You will be responsible for:
- Generating leads from app developers through outbound marketing.
- Managing the whole sales process from start to close.
- Presenting to potential customers at industry events.
- Using phone calls and emails to build relationships with potential customers, leading to a sale.

Skills and experience required:
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
- A demonstrable track record of increasing company revenue.
- The ability to manage the sales process from start to finish, from generating leads to closing deals.
- A burning desire to achieve great results and build a local brand into a global leader.
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
- The ability to be part of a team is essential - they are a close-knit group who work extremely hard to achieve their goals.
- A high work ethic, perseverance and ability to adapt approach based on who you are selling to.
- Understanding of the educational sector, particularly EdTech, is a plus.
- A university degree (ideally in Marketing or Business-related subject) is preferable, but not essential.

The benefits:
- Starting salary: GBP30-35,000 (dependent upon experience).
- Bonus structure for hitting pre-agreed sales targets (OTE: GBP40-45,000).
- You will be part of a small founding team and your performance has a direct impact on the company's performance - you will not be just a number.
- Upon reaching agreed targets, you will have the opportunity to build and manage your own sales team.
