Accounts Staff

A well-established Chartered Accountancy practice in South East London (SE12) has several opportunities at varied levels for Practice experienced accountants to join their growing organisation. Established in 1969 this busy accountancy firm has an excellent reputation which means they work with some exclusive clients across the local area.

Your role will be challenging from day one, supporting the senior accounting managers and Partners in the accounts production team. Your role will be varied and mentally challenging allowing you to develop your skills and progress your career.

Your immediate duties will include but will not be limited to:
- Accounts schedule preparation (manually and using Excel)
- Trial Balance preparation
- VAT returns
- Reconciling control accounts
- Preparing financial accounts using accounting software
- Other ad-hoc duties

To be successful in the application you will:
- Have previous experience in an accountancy practice
- Be communicative
- Have excellent numeracy skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Able to work with a methodical approach
- Experience with SAGE Line 50 is highly desired
- SAGE Accounts Production Advanced experience an advantage
