The number 1 primary school in Brighton and Hove is looking for a fun and friendly TA to join there support team in January 2016. This is a long term position, 5 days a week- term time only guaranteed until July 2017.

The school in question is a larger than life 3 form entry primary school with a creative curriculum and top of range technology. There are approx. 360+ mixed ability pupils on role and the school prides itself on the delivery of a child centred ethos.   • Long term Teaching Assistant role (guaranteed until July 2017)

  • Any experience level will be considered, ideal candidates will be flexible, resilient and have a positive approach to supporting learners with SEN (direct SEN experience is not essential)
  • Relevant experience/Knowledge of UK SEN settings (desirable)
  • Own Transport- Due to locality of the school
  • Eligibility to work in the UK


  • Supporting KS1- KS4 SEN learners on a 1:1, small group and classroom basis
  • Communicating with parents and carers over pupils' progress and participating in departmental meetings, parents' evenings and whole school training events
