The award winning Personal Injury (PI) Department within Leigh Day is seeking a Newly Qualified - 4 years PQE Assistant Solicitor to join their team. The successful candidate will be working directly with a partner, highly regarded by the Legal 500 in the area of catastrophic injury and asbestos claims.

The highly acclaimed PI Department represents claimants who have suffered catastrophic injuries, including amputation, severe brain injury and spinal injuries and other major transport disasters, accidents at work, construction site accidents and road traffic accidents. The PI Department has a highly successful asbestos and industrial disease practice. In the last ten years they have successfully secured millions of pounds in compensation for clients in cases relating to asbestos exposure, including pleural thickening, asbestosis, lung cancer and mesothelioma. The role is highly challenging and will ideally suit an ambitious personal injury lawyer. Demonstrable relevant experience in assisting an independent, multi-track and high value personal injury caseload is essential. In order to be successful, candidates must possess excellent analytical skills and have a genuine interest in working with claimants who have suffered personal injuries. This is a busy role and a high standard of performance is expected. The successful applicant will have good IT, research, and problem solving skills and will be an effective communicator.
