Our client is looking for a confident New Business Sales Executive (Business Development Consultant) to cover the Dorset county.

Sales experience can be considered from candidates that have worked in a variety of industry sectors. Full product knowledge is provided although any knowledge or experience of selling Apprenticeships / Training courses would be very beneficial.

The company are a Training Provider and this role has been created to help the company grow the amount of employers and businesses that they work with specifically in the Hospitality and Health and Social Care industries within Dorset.

You will be targeting businesses / employers of all sizes and these could be bars, hotels, restaurants, care homes, day care centres, nursing homes etc. You will be encouraging these employers to either offer Apprenticeship job opportunities or offer training courses to upskill existing staff. The company can then support these businesses to either recruit Apprentices for them where they will then conduct the training or provide training support to existing employees.

They have an office in the local area although you will normally be home or field based. The company strongly believe in selling their services face to face and this will be the main focus of this role.

The company are looking for someone who is able to generate their own leads through research, cold calling, warm leads and they also have a database of clients that can be utilised. The company also use a lead generation company who provided leads and their staff are all actively encouraged to pass leads on.

You will be the sole business development executive in the Dorset area so will have the opportunity to make contact with any company within the area that operates within the Hospitality and Health and Social Care sector.

If you have worked as an Employer Engagement Executive or other Apprenticeship Education and Training Sales orientated role then this role would suit you. Sales executives from other industry sectors also considered.

Hours: 40 hours per week. Monday - Friday
Holidays: 25 days per annum + Bank holidays

Salary:£20,000 - £25,000pa + Uncapped bonus scheme with OTE circa £25,000 - £30,000pa
