An exciting opportunity is available working with our Client. The External Funding team are in the process of expanding their contract portfolio, maximising opportunities across Yorkshire and Humber to secure funding from the European Structural and Investment Fund.
To support the ongoing successful delivery of the External Funding provision they are currently looking to recruit a Project Manager to join them. This role is dependent upon securing successful funding from the European Structural and Investment Fund. The post will be offered on a fixed term basis, and is anticipated to be for 18 months’ duration. This will be reviewed on an ongoing basis. As a Project Manager you will work closely with the Director of External Funding in the delivery of ESF Skills Support for the Workforce funded projects, leading the procurement and tendering of Skills Funding Agency (SFA) and Local Enterprise Partnership approved projects. Managing the relationships with internal teams and project providers, you will set up projects and monitor and evaluate their progress and performance to project completion.
Taking responsibility for the management and coordinator of the SSW projects, you will produce and manage all documentation to include tender specifications and appropriate SLAs. Managing stakeholder expectations and working alongside them to create and maintain appositive working environment, you will ensure the adherence to the ESF regulations and keep updated with all eligibility criteria.
With a background in successful project management and holding a recognised qualification (PRINCE2), you will have experience of organisational administration at managerial / team leader level and ideally have an understanding of government funded programmes and knowledge of ESF funding. An excellent communicator with planning, organisation and prioritising skills, the successful candidate will hold a current and full driving licence and able to travel between all locations and stakeholder premises where appropriate.
