Finance Officer - Part Time

Our client is an organisation that provides independent advocacy for people with learning disabilities across the areas of Neath Port Talbot and Swansea in South Wales. They are currently recruiting for a Part Time Finance Officer to join their team, working 7 hours a week.

Duties & Responsibilities:
??? Paying invoices and writing cheques
??? Keeping all financial records accurate and up to date
??? Providing financial reports for the Management Committee
??? Providing accurate financial information when asked to do so
??? Providing accurate figures for Payroll every month on time
??? Managing the Charity???s bank account
??? Keeping the SAGE accounting system accurate and up to date
??? Any other duties within the financial officer???s ability deemed fit by the Project Manager/Management Committee

Candidate Requirements:
??? Qualification Level: Degree Level or equivalent in relevant subject including Finance, Maths, Business or Administration
??? Experience of Managing day to day finances of a small organisation
??? Experience of designing and managing budgets and forecasts
??? Be analytical, creative, computer literate, resourceful
??? Utilise language and numerical skills
??? Knowledge of funding and third sector
??? Knowledge of Excel Spreadsheets and Sage accounting software

This position will be a fixed term contract until December 31st 2017, funded by the Big Lottery Fund Wales. Salary: ??3,744 per annum (??18,720 pro rata).
