An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrician to join the Asset Management team. As an Electrician working within our clients works team, you will carry out electrical testing and inspection works to our clients properties; primarily in their domestic housing portfolio.


As Electrician your main duties will include:

• To carry out electrical surveys and repairs to the Association's properties as required

• Carry out periodic inspection and testing and completing of the necessary test certification in accordance with IEE Wiring Regulations

• To undertake testing of portable and fixed electrical equipment (PAT Testing)

• All works are to carried out within the Associations policies and procedures with regards to Health & Safety, housing management and maintenance

• Provide an effective and efficient out-of-hours emergency service in conjunction with the Asset Manager.

• Ensure that the Association's vehicles and equipment are maintained and serviced in accordance with the manufacturers' recommendations.

• Keep up-to-date with health and safety legislation.

• Maintain accurate documentation for audit purposes.

• Ensure equipment is maintained and appropriately tested and serviced.

The successful candidate must have a full UK Driving Licence and will be expected to ensure their qualifications remain current with the requirements of the industry.
