Research and Work Package Manager
Our client a Yorkshire Coast based College has an exciting opportunity for a Research and Work Package Manager to play a key role on the successful delivery of the York, North Yorkshire and East Riding Local Enterprise Partnership (The LEP) regions Skills Support for the Workforce (SSW) project which is funded through the European Social Fund (ESF). The project aims to address skills shortages in small, medium sized enterprises (SME) that fills the skills gaps of the business and provides employees with the opportunities to develop the skills that will allow them to progress in employment. Effective communication and marketing plans will need to be developed and strong relationships with key stakeholders, partners and local and regional media formed.
The Research and Work Package Manager will support the Project Director in the development and delivery of detailed project quarterly plans of the contract service requirements including milestones and target dates that address the skills requirements of the LEP and the to ensure delivery is responsive to the needs of employers and employees in the region. They will also work on the development and commissioning of a range of quality projects as specified in the delivery plan.

These roles are dependent upon successful outcomes of the ESF project application to the Skills Funding Agency. The post is fixed term for up to 18 months with a salary of £36,000
