JOB TITLE: Commercial Vehicle Fitter

SALARY & BENEFITS: £11.17-£13.41 per hour (dependent on shift)

WORKING HOURS: Oldham, 08:00-16:00 / Bury, rotating shifts including days, nights and weekends

THE COMPANY: Our client is one of the biggest bus operators in the region with a fleet of over 600 buses, 2,200 staff and a network of over 300 routes serving Greater Manchester. They now have an excellent opportunity for Commercial Vehicle Fitters to join their engineering teams in both Bury and Oldham.

THE ROLE: As a Commercial Vehicle Fitter, you will be joining the engineering team in either Bury or Oldham, supporting a fleet of buses by identifying faults and completing repairs.

Key Responsibilities to include:

• Working within the engineering team
• Fault finding
• Completing repairs

   

THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate for the position of Commercial Vehicle Fitter will have worked on buses or large vehicles and have an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.

Key experience essential for the role:

• Previous experience working on buses or large vehicles
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
