This creative graphic and web design studio are on the lookout for a talented and enthusiastic web developer to join their expanding creative team.

The successful applicant will be required to work on both back-end and front-end development to help produce top quality and beautiful content managed / e-commerce websites. There is a great variation of projects to be involved with and they are regularly welcoming new clients and ventures, allowing for great opportunity to offer up and develop new ideas. They seek a forward thinking developer that is proactive in learning the latest emerging technologies.

Working closely with in-house designers and developers you will be able to bring concepts to fruition and implement new designs to the web. You will also have the ability to build, edit and manipulate existing sites, in particular those created within Joomla, WordPress and Magento.

In addition to the primary web development skillset, the ideal candidate will have an intermediate understanding of server maintenance and take a serious interest in data security with regards to both internal workings and client protection.

You will be encouraged to work in a way you feel most comfortable using software you feel is appropriate. They will look to your expertise to enhance existing processes and for you to be active in passing that knowledge onto other members within the team.

You will have direct contact with clients and be sympathetic to their needs, offering honest advice and guidance to help make their ideas a reality.

Key responsibilities include:
- Building and developing for CMS and e-commerce websites, typically Joomla, WordPress and Magento
- An understanding of the built-in tools and general maintenance of a server: Package management, managing configs, handling processes & services, etc.
- Dealing with support requests relating to the company's and clients websites and systems
- Share technical knowhow
- Work as part of a close-knit team as well as take on individual tasks
- Be willing to communicate directly with clients face to face, by phone or by email

The candidate will ideally be able to demonstrate a good level of knowledge of:
- PHP/MySQL/Javascript/HTML/CSS
- Linux Server Administration Experience/Bash Scripting
- Understanding of server-side technologies: Apache, MySQL, SSH etc.
- Server Setup
- An understanding of security for application and server
