Lifeguard

The Leys is committed to providing an environment which promotes the social, emotional, physical and moral development of our pupils, supported by a philosophy which views strong pastoral care as vital in achieving these objectives.

Leys Leisure currently has part-time vacancies for motivated, confident and organised Lifeguards / Leisure assistants to work in their Sports Complex at The Leys.

Lifeguards

Previous experience along with a current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification would be preferable however there is the possibility of full training being provided, dependent on candidate and subject to interview.*

Shift working, mainly evenings and weekends will be as required on a roster basis.

Hourly rate of £8.62 per hour plus benefits including uniform, meals whilst on duty term time, contributable pension and some parking is available on site.

*Candidates would need to be available to attend a 1 week lifeguard course at The Leys during October half term, Mon 24 Oct - Sat 29 October More details available upon request.

Leisure Assistant

Previous experience with a current first aid certificate would be preferable; however there is the possibility of full training being provided, dependent on candidate and subject to interview. Shift working, including weekend working will be as required on a roster basis.

Hourly rate of £8.62 per hour plus benefits shown as above.
