We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist with an excellent understanding of equipment and adaptations in relation to promoting independence. The ideal candidate would have knowledge of Assistive Technology Services, including call handling equipment, as well as the ability to use professional knowledge and experience to contribute to the further development of the assistive technology service and associated care and support services within NCH.
This role would require you to carry out assessments in relation to disability and eligibility within current legislation and make recommendations regarding adjustment of social care packages. We would look to you to establish rapport and communicate effectively with citizens, colleagues and other professional agencies across a wide range of mediums.
