Meeting Support Assistant
Do you want to work with Lincolnshire County Council to safeguard the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults?
Do you want to feel like you're making a difference in the lives of our county's vulnerable children and adults?
As a Meeting Support Assistance that's exactly what you will be doing; making a difference and being part of the solution with the work you do!
We are looking for dedicated individuals to support the work of our Adults and Children's Services; this is an interesting and challenging role that can be both enormously rewarding and satisfying through supporting services that help to protect vulnerable children, young people and adults. In addition, you will be part of a supportive and highly dedicated team based across the county.
You must be able to work accurately, efficiently, methodically and in a timely manner, demonstrating effective self-management, and excellent organisation and administrative skills.
You must be able to produce high quality reports and detailed minutes of meetings within defined deadlines and will also be able to competently minute professional/practitioner meetings with excellent attention to detail. You must have the ability to work flexibly and undertake other duties and responsibilities as may reasonably be required by service needs to reflect the evolving nature of the organisation.
Experience of taking detailed minutes of meetings or similar note-taking is desirable as is an experience of professional writing and proficient typing skills along with knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
The ability to be diplomatic and discreet at all times is essential. Post holders must also be prepared to deal with sensitive information and discussions which may be emotionally demanding due to the nature of some of the work when supporting Child Protection Conferences.
The successful candidate must have a high degree of flexibility in their working location; have their own transport and be prepared to travel to different venues within Lincolnshire (business mileage will be reimbursed).
