ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for keen, cheerful and efficient Security Officers to work within a small team, responsible for the Security of our Village. This role is paramount to our guests as you will represent their first impressions of Center Parcs. Duties will include welcoming guests, visitors and staff to the Village on a daily basis, escorting staff on cash runs across the Village and responding to emergencies while liaising with the emergency services and writing incident reports. The ideal candidate will have the ability to remain calm under pressure, with the ability to communicate competently both orally and in writing. A First Aid qualification is essential and full training will be given if necessary. HOURS OF WORK Please note that this role is on a zero hours (casual) basis. This means that any hours of work will be offered according to business need, such as employee holiday cover, sickness cover and seasonal business requirements. The Security department is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and operational shifts are from 6am to 6pm or from 6pm to 6am. ABOUT YOU Essential requirements: A current clean drivers licence You should be physically capable of carrying out the demands of the role SIA qualification in Door Supervision First Aid at Work Certificate Desirable requirements: Previous experience of working in a Security environment would be an advantage Closing date: 25 October 2016 at midday Interviews to be held week commencing 31 October 2016
