Cookery School Tutor
Our client a leading cookery school in the North seek a Cookery School Tutor to fulfil a permanent fulltime position. Its a really nice position working with a leading venue who offer numerous course to those passionate about food.
To be considered for the role of Cookery School Tutor you should:
-have a minimum of 5 years experience of cooking at the highest level
-be able to demonstrate a passion for good food
-have some experience with delivering training or have an educational background
-ideally have some experience with product development
-have vocabulary, grammatical, literacy and ICT confidence to produce top level course material
-have a broad knowledge of different preparation, cookery, baking and food presentation techniques
-have the ability to understand and maintain the very high standards we employ
-be exemplary with your knowledge of food safety/health & safety practices
-have very good communication skills with the ability to get the message across at all levels
-be intuitive around our customers, be able to read their requirements and adapt to suit the individual
-be very precise with attention to detail and organisational skills
-demonstrate time management skills
-be confident at public speaking
-have the ability to anticipate needs and react promptly towards both customers and your colleagues
-display a warm and natural approachable personality with excellent customer service skills
-be able to work as part of a team but also to be self motivating
-have the flexibility to work around the schedule which the Cookery School requires (some weekend, evening work and extended hours may be required)
