General Manager - Grantham Meres Leisure Centre
Grantham Meres Leisure Centre is a large centre within the 4-site South Kesteven contract and its facilities include a recently refurnished fitness gym, indoor cycling studio, aerobics studios, 4 swimming pools, table tennis centre, main hall/events centre, football stadium/athletics track, outdoor floodlit tennis courts, outdoor floodlit 3G pitch, grass football pitches & catering facilities.
As a General Manager you will be an enthusiastic leader, commercially astute and a great customer service orientated individual. With at least 2 years' management experience from a leisure environment, you'd be able to demonstrate your experience of managing teams, delivering operational excellence and the consistent delivery of business targets and KPI's.
Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the leisure centre, you'd be responsible for the various heads of department and ensure the facilities are open, clean and safe, equipment working and staff friendly. Equally maintaining and developing the programme of activities at the Centre is an important part of your role, working with clubs, coaches, community groups to utilise all space. You'll engage more with existing customers acting on feedback and get out into the wider local community, with outreach activity, supporting or hosting events.
