Sous Chef - Gastro Pub
Location: Lavenham, Suffolk
Salary: Up to GBP25,000 per annum plus tips
Sous Chef required for this superb town centre restaurant using all fresh locally sourced ingredients.
The talented Chef owner is looking for somebody with good all round skills who enjoys cooking both pub classics done properly alongside a modern British menu with everything made in-house.
As Sous Chef you will need previous experience of cooking with all fresh ingredients and have good all-round knowledge and experience. The Head Chef is looking for a Sous Chef who will actively take part in everything from ordering to on-going menu development and staff training
As Sous Chef you must display confidence and feel comfortable running service in the absence of the Head Chef, be able to lead by example and have the patience to help train and inspire junior chefs.
This would suit anyone living in the Lavenham, Ipswich, Sudbury, Stowmarket, or possibly Bury St Edmunds area with their own transport if required

Chef Selection deal with a wide range of group owned and independent Hotels, Restaurants and Dining Pubs from 3 black Star to 5 Red Star. These include Multi Rosette and Michelin Properties, as well as many companies who just wish to serve good quality, freshly cooked, locally sourced and reasonably priced food without accolades
