DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Basingstoke Aquadrome has a wide range of facilities offering an excellent choice of sporting and leisure activities. The facilities include a fitness suite, swimming pool with flumes, rapids and splash pools. There is also a workout studio, health suite and caf??. The Aquadrome is open from 6 am to 10 pm Monday to Friday and 7 am to 8 pm Saturday and Sunday.

What your role will be
Serco Leisure is recruiting a Duty Manager to lead, manage and be responsible for the day to day operation of the facilities. You will support, manage and develop a team of Supervisors and Lifeguards to deliver a high standard with safety as the first priority. You will be involved in a high level of customer interaction as well taking control and responding in the event of any emergency situation.

The Duty Manager will work 40 hours per week on a shift rotation which includes early, late and mid shifts. You will also be required to work some weekends and bank holidays.

About you
You will hold a National Pool Plant Operators Certificate, National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) and IOSH Certificate or equivalent. Previous experience in leisure or facility management is essential at a supervisory level and confidence in applying management systems. You should also have a working knowledge of Health and Safety at Work legislation.

In line with Serco Leisure's policy, all employees will have a DBS disclosure at an appropriate level.
