You will be working alongside a team of two HR Administrators, a Recruitment and Retention Advisor, a HR Operations Advisor and an Employee Relations Advisor. There will be the opportunity to rotate into one of the different specialist roles periodically. This role will encompass all aspects of generalist HR with a focus on analysing workforce data, recommending and managing projects alongside the Head Office and Village HR team ensuring the ongoing review, evaluation and development of processes and procedures. You will provide advice to operational managers on complex issues/projects ensuring quality and consistency is achieved reflective of the Company Values, Brand and Culture. You will act as a first point of contact to operational management on all aspects of HR including discipline, grievance, absence, equality, maternity and paternity; proactively working with managers to achieve optimal outcomes for both business and individual whilst protecting our nurturing culture. HOURS OF WORK You will be contracted to work 160 hours per 4 week period on a flexible basis. Shifts will usually be Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm with occasional weekends. ABOUT YOU You must be highly organised with excellent verbal and written communication skills alongside relevant experience at HR Advisor level within a large company. Experience with the use of Microsoft Office, report generating and HR/Payroll systems will be necessary. Alongside your good standard of education and previous HR experience, we are seeking a driven and highly motivated professional with significant experience of providing advice and guidance to managers and staff in the full range of HR issues matched with a good knowledge of employment law. Essential requirements: Maths and English to Grade C GCSE level or equivalent Qualified to CIPD level 3 or equivalent as a minimum Previous HR experience within a similar field including a sound understanding of Employment Legislation Analytical thinking along with strong written and verbal communication skills Advanced Microsoft office experience Closing date: 18 October 2016 at 12 Noon.
