Overview
We are currently recruiting for a PR Manager - Litigation, Employment & Tax to join our London office.
This is a maternity cover in an already reduced team. Therefore, it is important that the candidate can be flexible and hands on when required to meet the strategic priorities of the business.
The manager will be responsible for the planning and execution of the media relations strategy for the global litigation, employment and tax practices. The manager will advise senior management of these groups on all comms related matters and be responsible for liaising with partners on a daily basis, sourcing key themes and comments to push out to the press proactively. The successful candidate will have experience of dealing with sensitive issues that require careful handling, given many of the disputes we advise clients on are headline news.
The PR team is receiving an increasing number of Brexit-related enquiries, so the successful candidate will be required to help field and execute those as well as pick up a small proportion of firm-related enquiries and proactive news flow such as partner promotions.
