Support Worker

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a number of Support Workers to join Beyond Limits, based in Plymouth.  Beyond Limits are committed to providing opportunities and choices by offering an individual, person-centred service and by maximising the use of existing community facilities and natural supports. 

Positions are available for Full / Part time and Casual Support Workers.

Lou is 27 year old lady who is very excited about having her own home in the community. She will be living in Plymouth and she is looking for a range of staff to support her. She describes herself as a typical teenager at heart. Lou loves Harry Potter, Minions and Frozen and most other Disney movies. She also loves music with Katie Perry as her absolute favourite.

Lou likes to keep her home tidy and she loves going out shopping and visiting local parks. She is a girly girl who likes getting her nails done, hair ornaments and beauty products. She is arty and enjoys crafts, she is very good at making cards. She enjoys keeping diaries and these are very important to her.

Lou is looking for staff to support her in her own home to build on her independence. It is very important to Lou that people make time to talk to her every day and that she is listened to. She needs to talk through her thoughts and feelings so that they don’t become worries

Ideally you will be someone who:

In return for this you will receive a salary of £15,450 per annum (pro-rata), plus:

A DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service) Check will be requested in the event of the individual being offered a position with Beyond Limits, the cost of which will be to the employee, however, this will be returned after successful completion of probation period (6 months).
