Accounts and Tax Manager - Accountancy Practice - Full Time

£50,000 - £55,000 pro rata - This can be a full or part time position for the right candidate

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small and growing accountancy practice based in Surrey. They have a great office atmosphere and provide a great service to their clients and they are looking to expand the business.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Reviewing statutory accounts and corporation tax returns on IRIS Accounts Production and IRIS Business Tax
- Reviewing self assessment tax returns on IRIS Personal Tax
- Handling client queries in relation to accounts, taxation and company administration

Key skills:

- Proficient in usual Microsoft office products including Excel, Word and Outlook
- Experience using accounts production and tax software e.g. IRIS/CCH/Sage
- Knowledge of various bookkeeping packages preferred but not essential, to be able to advise clients, e.g. Sage, Quickbooks, Xero and Freeagent

Experience
They are looking for someone with significant experience managing a client portfolio and giving advice to clients. The ideal candidate would have experience in a small accountancy practice even if the majority of previous experience has been in large accountancy practices.

Office based in Leatherhead and clients are all in the local area including South London so the candidate should be happy to travel up to an hour to get to clients if required.
