Position: Project Accountant
Location: East Sussex
Salary: £35000 - £60000 per annum + package

The company client is a leading organisation who are now looking to recruit a highly skilled Project Accountant to join their office based in East Sussex. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the delivery of projects across a prominent financial services business. The role will be particularly focused around change projects, brought about by both internal and external factors.
Main duties for this role will cover:
* This team is responsible for providing adhoc solutions to business problems, and as such will need to be a flexible personality,
* Management, design, delivery and implementation of change affecting accounting systems and processes.
* Ensuring all systems and process changes are designed and delivered through to production - working effectively across the business divisions to implement this effectively
* Ensuring all changes to systems are captured and delivered, working with cross-functional teams to do so
* Identifying impacts of change and communicating this to both financial and non-financial colleagues
* Proposing new solutions through creative methods to deliver change methodology
* Developing and modelling business accounting financial functions
* Maintaining relationships with internal management to ensure effective delivery of projects
Background and competencies required:
* The ideal candidate will be an Accountant (nearly/newly qualified or qualified by experience), with good experience in finance projects work, e.g. project lifecycles and risk frameworks.
* Financial services experience would be desirable.
* They will also have an understanding of processes and systems, and will be a strong team player, influencer and be creative in providing solutions to business problems.
