Graduate Digital Forensics and eDiscovery Consultant

They're looking for a recent Computer Science (or similar) graduate who would like to start a career in electronic discovery and digital forensics.

Electronic discovery is the process of identifying, collecting, processing, analysing and reviewing large volumes of electronic data, primarily for legal disputes. This involves dealing with a variety of standard and complex data sources, types of information, as well as applying and creating a range of technical processes to handle exponentially increasing data-sets.

Digital forensics is the discipline of recovering and investigating material found on digital devices such as computers and mobile devices, using court approved software and processes. The disciplines of electronic discovery and digital forensics overlap significantly, and you will have the opportunity to work in both areas. You will be working for some of the largest law firms and companies in the world, and your work will contribute towards investigations and case-building on multi-million pound disputes and high-profile investigations.

The role would be ideally suited to a recent graduate who:

- Holds, or is predicted a 2:1 or higher from a leading university

- Has a good knowledge across a broad range of computer science areas, including networking, databases, operating systems, security and hardware

- Is comfortable working closely with clients

- Enjoys continually using, and expanding their knowledge to solve problems

- Wants a role which challenges a range of technical, personal and professional skills

- Wants a role where you can develop an extremely broad range of technical skills

- Likes dealing with large volumes of structured (databases) and unstructured (documents) data

- Isn't afraid of hard work, and enjoys working towards deadlines

- Is an excellent communicator in both the written and spoken forms, with good attention to detail
