Job Title: Insurance Claims Handler / Card Loss Customer Service Agent (Call Centre)

Location: Portsmouth, PO1

Salary: Range £16,000 to £18,000 per annum depending on experience (plus applicable shift allowance)

The company is based in Portsmouth; they're a leading European provider of quality insurance products for over 100 major brand clients. The company operates selling its insurance, assistance and service programmes to major clients and key accounts via multi sector offerings.

The company is are currently recruiting for permanent, full-time posts within their Claims and Administration Department. They require career driven, professional and motivated candidates of the highest quality to fill these challenging and rewarding roles.

The Role:

Being the policyholder's/ Customers first contact, you will:

  • Treat the customer fairly and professionally at all times;
  • Assist customers with the completion of their claim, from us receiving the first call (FNOL) through to the claim's final settlement;
  • Gather and record accurately and efficiently all relevant information, whether presented or asked for;
  • Liaise with specialists / suppliers to ensure only valid claims are paid and repairs authorised
  • Keep the policyholder fully informed of progress until completion of the claim.
  • For Non claim calls, provide full product service

The Candidate:

While multi sector experience would be useful, it is not essential. It is essential that all applicants possess:

  • Excellent time management skills;
  • Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn new skills;
  • Excel when working alone as well as part of a team;
  • The ability to achieve both individual and departmental performance criteria as set out by the business.

Hours of Work:

Various Shift Patterns available:

  • Mon - Friday / Week-ends / Rota Based Shift work (12 hours / 24-7)
