Oakham School's Foundation is expanding and is looking for a confident, dynamic self- starter to manage its fundraising activities with Old Oakhamians and parents, as well as supporting the Development Director to secure major donations.
The role involves delivering the Foundation's comprehensive fundraising plans, as well as researching and cultivating potential, current and previous donors to the school. Financial oversight and reporting of donations received also form a key part of this role.
The successful candidate will have management experience and outstanding communication skills, together with a proven track record of building relationships with and securing income from a wide range of individuals and/or organisations. They should also be comfortable using a customer relationship database and have experience of delivering successful direct marketing campaigns.
Hours are 8.30am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday, all year, with some flexibility required.
