Recycling Advisors - Braintree
Our client are looking to recruit a team of 4 enthusiastic Recycling Advisors to work on a project on behalf of Braintree District Council. The campaign is running for approximately 4 weeks in November / December 2016. The aim and objective of the campaign are to provide information to residents living in flats about new ‘Pledge to Recycle More' scheme. Through your positive attitude you can make a significant contribution to this important and vital public service by encouraging residents to utilise recycling services more.

Main duties and responsibilities of the Recycling Advisor are:

  • Inform residents of the 'Pledge to Recycle' more scheme and how it works;
  • Addressing any concerns or issues residents have in taking part in the scheme;
  • Providing residents with information on the recycling services and how to recycle correctly, whilst overcoming any barriers to using the services.

Our client is looking for people with excellent communication skills, who are positive, friendly, outgoing, enjoy outdoor working conditions and speaking to people. Previous experience of working with the general public in a customer service, canvassing or sales and marketing role will be an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided. This is an excellent opportunity to get experience working with the public and also in the waste and environmental field.
