Job title- Dedicated Operator
Salary £6.95ph - £7.20ph + Weekend Enhancements
Location - Portsmouth
A well-established 24-hour call answering service based in Portsmouth is wanting to expanding their team. They are looking for an organised, confident individual to join immediately and the candidate will also receive a full training package.
Main Duties:
- To take inbound telephone calls on behalf of the Company.
- To respond to inbound email enquirers on behalf of the Company in order to fulfil customer requirements.
- Where required, requested and training, make outbound telephone calls.
- To follow as trained all appropriate scripts and system requirements in order to respond to customer enquiries both telephone and email.
- To complete all necessary paperwork and systems administration in relation to the handling of the call, message and actions taken.
- To manage the call and actions resulting from the call efficiently and in accordance with the specific Customer and Senior Operator requirements.
- To complete all necessary time sheets and office paperwork to support the processing of your pay and job function.
- To report any system errors or system problems to your Senior Operator.
- To follow all company systems and processes, rules and policies.
- To uphold all confidentiality in relation to Customer data and information.
- To report any abusive calls to the Senior Operator.
- To attend participate in Staff Meetings where required.
- To attend all training and learning events and arrangements.
Candidate Specification-
Essential:
- Have experience or an appetite in doing this type role.
- High attention to detail.
- Happy to work in a team and individually.
- Customer Service orientated.
- Proven ability for accurate and timely data input.
- High degree of IT literacy.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Have a clear and strong vocal tone.
- Be able to multi task and follow processes.
- Excellent time management skills.
It is also desirable to have experience taking inbound and outbound calls but not essential.
