A Sales Executive is required to join an expanding integrated marketing agency with a digital bias. From their Macclesfield office they work with clients UK wide and it's their can-do culture, focused on giving clients an excellent service and delivering projects on time and on budget, that underpins their growth.

Six years young, they are now the sum of 18 fab people. They have a healthy ambition. Having grown mostly through referrals, they now have an opportunity to build on their very sound foundations to create one of the leading agencies in the North West.

You will be supporting the new business function of the agency; helping them identify, nurture and secure new clients. You will report to the Managing Director and work with members of the team in delivering the sales target across a range of products and services delivered by the business.

You will have experience of working within a sales team and have a track record of identifying and helping to secure new business in a B2B environment. You'll be spending time on the phone, although cold calling is not really their thing, most outbound calls will be to warm leads, or those that have shown an interest in what they do. They reckon outbound calls will be about 40% of the working day.

The role is office based and makes extensive use of cloud based software. There may be occasional need to travel to clients alongside colleagues. It's a sales role that's varied and would suit someone who enjoys sales and has an interest in digital marketing. There are opportunities for career development in sales and marketing.

- Making outbound calls to prospects
- Liaising with third party agencies to identify and collate leads and prospect lists
- Creating new business proposals
- Working with marketing, identifying and evaluating new business opportunities
- Researching and analysing prospects
- Communicating internally to brief colleagues on opportunities and pipeline status
- Updating and managing sales and marketing reports
- Maintaining accurate records on their cloud based CRM system
- Supporting business development through active lead nurturing and developing prospect relationships
- Supporting business development through coordination of activity, including diary management and record keeping
- Handling and directing sales enquiries
