Home Support Service - Peripatetic Support Worker
Salary: £11,232 per annum for 30 hours per week
Prepared to be flexible within business hours (Monday to Friday 9.00am-5.00pm)
A full driving licence and own transport is essential.
Travelling expenses paid.
Role includes: light housework, shopping, taking clients to appointments, collecting prescriptions, preparing light meals, befriending and other light duties which will enable clients to live independently in their own home.
(No personal care). You will also carry out assessments in the client's home to determine client needs and refer into other appropriate services within Age UK Warwickshire and onto other agencies where required.
You will need to be: computer literate, an excellent time keeper and have a compassionate and understanding nature along with reliability and desire to support older people to maintain independence in their own home.
Experience in this field is not necessary as full training will be given.
