Personal Assistant/Senior Administrator

NHS England is seeking a Personal Assistant/Senior Administrator to join the Midlands and East Regional Operations and Delivery team based in Victoria House, Fulbourn, Cambridge. 

The successful candidate should be a highly motivated, enthusiastic and flexible individual, with excellent organisational skills. 

This is a busy and varied role, one which requires the post holder to have a flexible approach and a calm, professional manner. The ability to work accurately whilst multi-tasking is essential. The right candidate should have a strong administrative background with experience of supporting senior managers/directors and have worked in a busy, demanding environment.

As the senior administrator you will provide a high quality and effective administrative service to the Regional Director of Operations and Delivery, including high level email management and complex diary arrangements, organising the logistics for the Director's meetings, the collation and preparation of documents and data and facilitating the effective working environment of the Ops & Delivery office. You will also be the first point of contact for the full range of administrative support to the four heads of department. 

The post holder will be responsible for providing a high level, professional and confidential support function. You will be responsible for the line management, training, and development of the administrative assistant, previous experience of line management would be desirable. You will be expected to work with the directorate in developing and maintaining a range of internal and external contacts and responding to enquiries from various stakeholders. 

Working as part of a professional, regional-level team you will have excellent communication skills and be able to work confidently under pressure. You will be required to use your own initiative, have an ability to prioritise work and be able to work collaboratively as part of a friendly, high-performing team.
