Are you looking for work as a Cover Supervisor in a school? We are working with an outstanding school in Leeds who are looking for a temporary Cover Supervisor starting in September 2016. This is a full time and/or part time position however the school will want to interview and trial people in September for the position.
You will be expected to supervise lessons (with no support) during the short term absence of teaching staff, overseeing the work set by the class teacher, supervising and supporting pupils alone. You will be expected to cover all classes and all subjects, specialism of these subjects are not necessary. You will be on your own and are expected to fulfil the role of a teacher aside from setting the work and marking. The successful applicant will have relevant experience of working with children in an education setting and will be confident to supervise lessons solely. If you have less experience we can offer training and support to help with this.
