JOB TITLE: Accounts Assistant
Job Summary: Working as a day to day support to the HR & Finance Manager, you will process weekly payroll and operate a busy sales ledger, to include invoicing, credit notes, posting receipts and full credit control.
LOCATION: Derby City Centre
TYPE: Full time (40 hours per week)
PAY DETAILS: £18,000-£24,000 per annum depending on experience.

JOB PURPOSE: Working as a day to day support to the HR & Finance Manager, you will process weekly payroll and operate a busy sales ledger, to include invoicing, credit notes, posting receipts and full credit control.
Ideally, you are familiar with Sage Payroll and Sage Line 50 and will have proven experience in the above areas. We would also be willing to consider someone with a strong administration background, who is interested in working within Finance.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Weekly payroll processing
Full sales ledger management including credit control
Reporting to the HR & Finance Manager
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
Enthusiastic team player
Strong work references
Proven track record in the above mentioned Payroll & Accounts functions
Knowledge of Sage Line 50 & Sage Payroll
Self motivated, with the ability to work proactively on own initiative as well as within a close knit team
Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
Excellent time management and organisational abilities
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Strong analytical approach and attention to detail
A flexible approach to their work
Previous experience working in a Finance or Administration role is essential.
