Assistant Sports Development Officer (Fixed Term)
West Dunbartonshire Leisure wishes to appoint a Temporary Assistant Sports Development Officer.
This role is specifically responsible for providing invaluable support to Sports Development Officers and Sports Development Manager, while also effectively working with a multitude of internal and external partner organisations.
Key areas of work include supporting the development and delivery of community sports
programmes, school sports initiatives, learn to swim schemes, clubs, coaches, volunteers and events.
You should be a highly motivated individual who has a proven track record of delivering projects and achieving high standards of results. You need to be qualified to at least HND level and possess a variety of UKCC coaching qualifications in several sports with evidence of ongoing
professional development. You should also have experience of developing and coordinating sports projects within a local authority setting.
A flexible approach to work is expected as you will be required to work in the evening and some weekends in order to meet the needs of the service.
