We are seeking and experienced and proven Operations Manager, for a busy branded hotel - part of a major European and UK based group - 100 plus rooms and 5 meeting rooms and one restaurant - Berkshire Circa GBP35k plus package & includes medical and performance bonusThe Role:As Operations Manager your role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities including: * managing the professional day to day operation of the hotel * Ensuring a focus on client service, * Company standards are met and delivered consistently with attention to detail and budgeted profitability is achieved. * Focus on food and Beverage standards and training * Managing all staff rotas and assignment * Responsible for leading, coaching and developing the Operational Department Managers * Fostering and developing a team environment which promotes good Team Member morale, * Driving the team to provide a high level of commitment and pride * Ensure all associates are able to provide a memorable experience for guests.The person: * Be able to provide strong leadership. * Promoting effective relationships with individuals and other departments. * Be able to learn and pass on relevant skills and knowledge relating to the job role. * Agreeing and setting measurable performance standards, Improving quality and service standards by paying attention to detail. * Anticipating potential problems and business opportunities within the planning process. * Demonstrating a systematic approach to organisation and administration. * Focusing on producing results through encouraging high achievement.You will have had a proven previous experience as an Operations Manager within a branded environment, 3 to 5 years as a minimum, and be able to provide strong financial and commercial awareness, have good knowledge of current legislation including Health and Safety, Food Safety, Liquor Licensing and Employment Law. The successful applicant must have proven experience in leading, motivating and developing Managers and Team Members.
