This is a brilliant opportunity to join a very well-established specialist customer focused digital dental imaging company. You will be a key part of the team so character, initiative, motivation and great communication skills are essential.

Due to constant growth they are looking to strengthen their support team and are seeking a digital imaging support technician.

This role is challenging and varied as it involves in office and field support. You will work at the cutting edge of the very exciting world of 2D and 3D dental imaging. This varied role will ensure continued development as you will learn many new skills and techniques.

Experience is preferable but not essential as specialist comprehensive training will be provided by the company and its suppliers in the UK and overseas.

Their client base covers the whole of the UK so the role includes travel with occasional overnight stays.


- 1st and 2nd line remote technical support via telephone and remote software.
- Field repair, maintenance and testing of dental imaging equipment.
- On-site installation of new solutions at a customer premises across the UK
- Implementation of service and support plans.
- Provide excellent customer service at all times.

Key Attributes:

- Character, the ability to adapt and work well with others.
- Previous experience of installation, maintenance and repair work on electronic equipment
- Experience of providing 1st and 2nd line support.
- Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, networking, routers, switches and firewalls. Software installation and configuration.
- Able to work independently, accurately and under pressure to own initiative.
- In most cases you may be the first member of the support team that the customer meets face to face and you will be a representing the company. It is essential that you are able to professionally represent the company, in both appearance and attitude.
- Flexible, as this role will sometimes mean travel at short notice in order to meet customer demands.
- Ability to think analytically and with initiative, Be methodical, with good attention to detail and accuracy
- Highly professional and articulate, self-motivated, confident, ambitious, punctual and hard working.
- Full UK driving licence as this role will include client visits / onsite support

Desirable key skills:

- Previous x ray service and repair experience
- HND/Degree level Electronic engineering or IT qualification.
- Within 1 hour commute to Bolton


- GBP22,000 to GBP26000 per year dependent upon experience.
